Shubhashis Dey
Co founder & Lead Strategist
Shubhashis Dey has over 21 years of experience in climate change mitigation, adaptation, and resilience across various sectors and regions, along with eight years of expertise in climate philanthropy (Director – Climate Policy and Finance, Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation). Throughout his career, he has served on numerous high-level committees, including his current role as a member of SEBI’s ESG Advisory Committee, the Advisory Committee for the Mitigation Action Facility, the Working Group on Climate Finance, and the Steering Committee for the India Climate & Energy Modelling Forum at NITI Aayog. He has also been a member of the Task Force for Sustainable Finance, constituted by the Department of Economic Affairs, as well as the Indian Finance Minister’s Pre-Budget Committee on Infrastructure, Energy, and Climate Change.
Vivek Chandran

Vivek Chandran is a seasoned policy expert with over a decade of experience in climate change mitigation, sustainable transport, urban climate action, and critical raw materials. Throughout his career, Vivek has held key leadership roles, including Director (Transport and Climate insights) at Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation and City Director at C40 Cities, focusing on decarbonizing transport and advancing climate resilience in urban centers. He has also contributed to research and academia as a visiting faculty at CEPT University. With expertise in public policy, strategic planning, and climate finance, Vivek plays a pivotal role in shaping India’s energy transition and sustainable development agenda.

With a background in high-stakes finance and a deep commitment to climate action, Shishir Soti brings a unique blend of financial acumen and mission-driven leadership. After a successful career in banking—managing multi-million-dollar portfolios at ICICI Bank and Standard Chartered—he transitioned into the not-for-profit sector, focusing on scaling climate solutions through strategic fundraising and partnerships. As Director of Partnerships & Fundraising at Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation, Shishir doubled the donor base in three years, mobilizing global philanthropy to accelerate India’s clean energy transition and decarbonization efforts. Shishir’s expertise lies in building high-impact partnerships, securing climate finance, and driving systemic change. His mission is clear: to connect visionary funders with transformative solutions that advance sustainability and resilience.
Nandini Biswas
Founder and Programme Director
Nandini Biswas, PhD is a behavioral science expert and psychologist specializing in the human impact of climate change. At SoSuL, she leads impactful research on climate change and health, disaster mental health, gendered climate impacts, and child development. With over 20 years of experience in academia, research, and consultancy, she has authored influential publications on climate adaptation, energy transition, and behavioral responses to climate change. At the forefront of climate psychology and policy research, Dr. Biswas transforms scientific insights into practical, scalable solutions that advance sustainability, resilience, and inclusivity.
